Paradigm Shift

I am a music teacher. I have taught and seen my pupils excel in this field and it has given me a sense of fulfillment- until now.

I have always loved to write. In college, I even thought of writing a novel, but fate won't let me. After college, I got married, had kids, got jobs so I didn't have the luxury of time to write.

My kids are all grown-up now.I now have time for my two great passions: making music and writing. Maybe I was not destined to be a great writer, but I'd like to try. Not to be a great writer but at least express what I feel. There's a certain romance in writing. It's like sharing a part of me that no one else has seen. There's no harm in trying, right?

At 44, I no longer expect to be as famous as John Grisham or Sydney Sheldon.... I would just like to try....... so that in the final stages of my life, when I look back, I can smile and say "I tried to write."
